The EastPort Boat Club:
Established in the year 2000, the EastPort Boat
Club's purpose is to serve the interest of local
boaters, to prevent the pollution of neighboring
recreational waters, to stimulate a greater interest in
boating in our area, provide a medium for the
exchange of boating information, and in general, to
develop and maintain a fraternal spirit among our
members.

The Club's Forum:
General Membership meetings are held monthly on
the third Saturday of each month, at the East Port
Marina. Along with Club business, the meetings
allow members to share their interests, concerns, and
information with fellow boaters, and plan social events
to further this spirit.

The Club's Accomplishments:
The Club contributes and supports local
organizations in the interest of boaters, and the
community in which we live.
Each year, a group of our members participate in the
annual River Sweep, a State wide event held along
the Illinois River, cleaning up the shoreline, and
promoting a clean river environment, important to all,
not just boaters.
2006 EastPort won the coveted IRBBA River Bottom,
hosting the event in 2007. Also in 2007, the Club
formally incorporated as a not for profit, social
organization.
